Is the carrier strong enough to hold the crockpot full of food? Meatballs, mashed potatoes, etc.

It fits slow cookers up to 7 quarts and includes interior elastic straps to help secure the lid during transport. The carrier is intended for transport only and should not be used while the slow cooker is cooking.
